Housing for International ESL Students
Homestay Program
Live with a with friendly Canadian family (recommended for all new students)
- Helps you develop your English-speaking skills and adapt to life in Canada
- Provides a safe environment (all homestay families are screened)
- Have the privacy of your own room within a friendly family setting
- Your Canadian family will welcome you and may invite you to gatherings and events.
- Includes meals and airport pickup
- All families are located within a 40-minutes bus ride from the University of Saskatchewan
Homestay Costs
| Housing Placement Fee | $275 CAN |
| Damage Deposit | $400 CAN (this fee will be returned if you are not responsible for any damages to the home you are staying in) |
| Homestay Occupancy |
$1,950 CAN for the 71 days of a regular 10-week term. If you arrive early or leave late, additional days can be arranged at $24 per day and paid directly to your homestay family |
