Be What the World Needs at the USLC!

The EAP program is designed for student success. You will develop language, cultural and academic skills that will give you an advantage in your university studies, your career, and your life.

The EAP program has four levels, each designed to build on existing skills and teach new language specifically to help you prepare for university.

Placement

Students are required to upload the test results to your application via the online supplemental items list. 

Accepted proofs of English proficiency:

  • IELTS (Academic)
  • TOEFL iBT – Official scores must be sent to institution #0980
  • Duolingo – request your results be sent to the University of Saskatchewan
  • ILAC Pathway

Test results are valid for two years from test date. These test scores will determine which level you are placed in.

After you have submitted a complete application, your score will be validated and you will be contacted by email to confirm your placement level.

Refund policy
  • Application fee ($150 Cdn) is non-refundable.
  • Tuition deposit and tuition payments only refundable (100%) up to the first day of the month the term begins due to visa refusal (letter of refusal required).
  • If no notice of withdrawal or deferral is provided before the first day of the month the term begins, 0% refund eligible.
  • If student withdraws within first two weeks of term, 50% refund of tuition paid to date.
  • Student withdraws after second full week of term, 0% refund.

Class schedule

Students can anticipate a minimum of 20 hours of learning each week for the duration of the program term.

This learning is made up of a combination of daily synchronous instructor-led classes, independent study, learning resources sessions and tutorials. We also offer extra student activities and workshops.

Students in the EAP program should be available daily (Monday-Friday) between the hours of 8:30am-12:00pm (CST - Saskatchewan time).
