The temperature may not be as warm, but the true beauty of the fall season is beginning to show itself in Saskatoon.

Huskies Homecoming

Celebrate Homecoming and cheer on the Huskies as they take on our provincial rivals, the Regina Rams, on Friday, September 8. The game starts at 7pm at Griffiths Stadium, but starting at 5pm you can take in the festivities of the Co-op Rally Alley next to the stadium. Co-op Rally Alley is free for everyone. The game is free for all USask students, so be sure to get your tickets and go out and support our team!

Revitalizing the Circle

Welcome Back Powwow and Métis Dance Celebration

On Tuesday, September 12, from 10am - 4:30pm, you can explore the largest Indigenous cultural event held at the university, in the Bowl. Revitalizing the Circle will begin the school year in a culturally meaningful way, combining a Traditional Powwow with Métis dancing. Everyone is welcome.

International Student Welcome social

Join the International Students and Study Abroad Centre (ISSAC) for an exciting evening where they bring together all new international students at USask for a night of food, games, and much more! Event is all ages. No alcohol will be served.

The in-person International Student Welcome social will feature:

  • Dinner provided by Louis' Pub, on campus
  • Games and activities
  • Information booths provided by international student associations
  • Opportunities to meet and connect with your international student peers
  • and much more!

Date: Wednesday, September 13, 2023

Time: 5:30pm (Doors open at 5pm)

Locations: Louis' Pub on campus (all ages, no alcohol)

Learning Resources sessions are part of your program to help you with your studies.

Student Workshops

Student Workshops are an opportunity to learn about a variety of topics around campus and in the greater community. There will also be chances for you to practice your language skills and meet other people.
