Last issue of Fall 2023 newsletter

The fall term is almost done and this will be the last issue of the Fall 2023 USLC student newsletter. From all the staff and instructors at the USLC, best of luck on completing your schoolwork and upcoming exams!

As this term is set to end, it is time to plan for the next term!

If you are a current student who has not yet completed Level 4, you will be receiving an email with a link to a Survey Monkey survey that's has a few questions about your plan for Winter 2024. Please complete this survey as soon as you can so we know if you will be back with us for the winter term.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday and we hope to see you again soon!

Holiday Movies in the Den - Reading Room

If you are in Saskatoon, you will have noticed that the holiday season is here.

At the USLC, we will be opening up the Den - Reading Room to host a series of holiday classic movies for your viewing pleasure. On December 1, 4, 5, and 6, we will screen a film in the Reading Room as a way for you to relax and enjoy some of this festive season. We will begin each day at 11:00am.

Bring your popcorn, snacks, and unwind with some fun movies!

*Movies being played are subject to change based on interest and availability*

Winter Self-care Workshop

The USSU Help Centre and ISSAC are pleased to invite you to their "Winter Self Care Workshop" to help you enjoy the winter season in Saskatoon.

They will provide you with winter survival tips, information about how to dress for winter, and how to take care of your mental health during the cold months ahead. Lip scrub and trail mix making activities will be available for you to participate in, plus a hot chocolate bar to enjoy a nice hot beverage.

This all happens on Thursday, November 30, from 4:00 to 5:00pm (CST), in the ISSAC Training Room (Room 70.4 - Lower Place Riel).
